Performance Pilates Classes
Developed in the 1920’s by the legendary physical trainer, Joseph H. Pilates, the Pilates method is a set of principles and movements designed to dramatically improve strength, mobility, stability, posture and coordination.
Pilates combines awareness of the spine, proper breathing, strength and flexibility training to achieve slimmer, longer, stronger muscles without building bulk.
Pilates is tailored for you with modifications for each body and involves comprehensive exercise routines. You will be taken through a series of exercises and movements with an emphasis on your core muscles – abdomen, back and buttocks in each movement incorporating breath. Getting in touch and feeling the muscle or joint you’re exercising is very important – your body will be awakened into new awareness.
In addition to private and semi-private sessions Pre & Post Pregnancy sessions and Matwork Classes see below for venues. These one-hour classes incorporate all the principles and movements of the Pilates workout in a group atmosphere at an affordable price for you and friends to gather and grow.

Powerful Performance Pilates
SESSION DESCRIPTION:
A class designed to show evolved Pilates teaching at its best focusing highly on technique breath alignment control concentration and breath to ensure all clients are challenged and corrected into perfect posture for each movement. Included is small aparatus to assist or resist participants.
Take Pilates to next level teaching learning advanced skills and imagery to ensure all participants work to the optimum level and heading towards great posture and removal of pain due to postural and movement faults and how to spot and correct.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
A new advanced skilled way of teaching participants in any movement whether pilates or bootcamp this class will encourage new thinking and teach skills to improve and understand importance of breath alignment technique and all movement patterns Pilates and more.
