Sandy Leo is an international fitness presenter and trainer who is passionate about empowering optimum performance and leadership in the wellness and fitness industry.
A functional fitness and wellness coach, Sandy operates an exclusive private/semi-private training business and rehab clinic in Auckland applying Chek principles and utilising the GTS as a featured piece of equipment.
Sandy, mother of three and grandmother of seven, has 30 years experience in the fitness industry. Not only was she a former Les Mills presenter/choreographer, she was also the instructor of 4 Body Training programmes as well as a Les Mills group fitness coordinator and program developer.
Sandy’s clients include high level CEOs, executives, physiotherapists, athletes of all ages, and medical doctors who have attributed total rehabilitation for post hip, shoulder and knee surgery alongside weight loss and general wellbeing, pain relief and energy levels to her unique approach to wellness.

I would strongly recommend Sandy for recovery from serious injury or getting back to good health and being able to enjoy daily life without constant back or muscle related pain. If it wasn’t for Sandy’s expert help, I would still be living with daily back and shoulder pains, as I was 6 years ago, unable to sit unaided on the floor and continuous pains daily. I have been having a weekly pilates/gravity one on one private lesson with Sandy now for about 3 months. I have also been attending a pilates group session with Sandy weekly. I was still trying to recover from a twisted pelvis when I started with Sandy. I had all sorts of problems which I just couldn’t seem to rectify and my posture also needed to be worked on. Sandy encouraged mobility with me firstly, then continued with strength work on the gravity machine and pilates. Most importantly I needed to strengthen my core muscles. It has been rather hard work at times, but with amazing results. I feel stronger, walk taller and I am managing my back issues. This in turn has allowed me to carry on with my favourite sport of tennis. I have noticed the extra strength in my tennis shots and have now made it into 1st grade, so I’m thrilled. My name is Jason Coote and I am 24 years old, I came to sandy 2 and half years ago, post shoulder surgery that was unsuccessful and born with shoulders that were dysfunctional and hips that were weak and sore and inability to play sports. Working on the Total gym Gravity system with Sandy as my master trainer, has improved mobility, range and strength in my shoulder and all muscles surrounding it. Also strength in my hips, the pain has pretty much totally gone. Sandy is very knowledgeable in post rehabilitation and holistic health in general and an expert at using the Total gym Gravity system.
